Surrender with Intuitive Yoga

Intuitively guided yoga gives your body the opportunity to surrender to what is. In this practice, Angelika intuits each person’s energy in the class and translates it into poses that soften and heal blocked regions of the body.  The practice offers three styles of yoga: vinyasa flow, restorative and energy yoga. All classes are currently offered online through Zoom.

 

Vinyasa Flow

 

Vinyasa flow is a physically active practice of yoga that links the breath to the movement in a constant flow. If you have a difficult time being still and are looking to strengthen your body and increase your flexibility, this is an excellent practice to help you to start going inwards. This is the most physical practice that we offer. Modifications are offered if the physical practice is too intense.

Duration: 75 minutes
Difficulty Levels: Intermediate and Advanced

Class Plan:

60 minutes of physical postures 
5 minutes of meditation (a different technique each week) 
10 minutes of savasana - the final conscious relaxation that is guided at the end of the class to fully allow your body, mind and spirit to relax.

Restorative
Yoga

 

Restorative hatha yoga is a practice that focuses on one pose at a time. We explore postures in a reclined, seated and standing position. This is an excellent introductory course to the yoga practice. It is especially beneficial to individuals with specific ailments. 

Angelika offers many variations and modifications based on your personal abilities and experience levels. Students will practice focusing on their breath and checking in on how they feel through each pose. Angelika will support each client in challenging themself and respecting their progress during the class. The motto here is: “Do what you can and leave the rest behind.”

Duration: 75 minutes

Energy Yoga

 

Energy Yoga is the slowest and most intuitive of all the yoga classes offered. It is often called a moving meditation. Most of the class will be taught in a reclined position on their back. Clients will be taught how to lengthen their breath and find a fluid rhythm, as they slowly and subtly move their body. This class will teach clients how to bring awareness to the present moment and how to check in on how they feel.
